Or if you prefer to listen,

here is a recording with art, can you tell the Cento I made of my own work in the art?

What is some advice you would give to a new artist?

Was asked by RTNNightmare, and the following is my answer.

Try to always remember the difference between the creative life side the commercial life of an artist.
The creative journey is eternal. There is no time or place or judgement that can satisfy the artists creative destination.
The proof will be in your future, when you make some heavy lauded work. Take two year after said work is lauded, and you will be more creatively unsatisfied with said work than two years ago.
The commercial journey is mortal, is straight forward. The goal is to make money using your art. The audience taste is the determinant. The ability for your work to get outreach is more important commercially than the work itself.
Remember to find communities online that enjoy the art work you do or may enjoy it. You are just starting so commercially you don't have a name to be recognized so you must go to the people who may find your work interesting.
The media tools will not direct them to you.

You have to try and comprehend and embrace that duopoly. Some, including artists, will tell you that the commercial goes hand in hand to the creative but that isn't true. And that isn't a negative.
Jean Michel Basquiat< streetart>
Philip K Dick <writer>
Penny and the Quarters<music>

All of these people posthumously found commercial success that they were not even remotely close to when living. Does it mean that when they were alive their work was crap or creative garbage. No, creatively it was fine as all work is creatively fine. But commercially, it wasn't good enough. The sad truth is that audiences tastes change, work gets outreach it never had and then can come a horde of money.

IF YOU MADE IT THIS FAR

The Entertainment Industry Is Going The Way Of The Automotive In The USA

Fiscal Capitalism in the USA has always been about cheating. Fortunes made from stolen land, forced labor, auniversal illegal allowances, auniversal murder of competitors, dysfunctional financial trading systems all served and serve to grow and maintain the wealth of a certain group, not to invite competition or share wealth in the USA's history and in modernity to the global system the USA manages. And it isn't all doom and gloom for the USA. Western Europe, Korea, Japan  plus many others all require the USA to protect them from countries with true militaries. So the last bit of the Entertainment Industry <music/sport already went before film>goes the way of the automotive/electronic/real estate industry in the usa as dominated by foreign actors allowed by an open market that other countries with true militaries dont allow in their borders. The question is, with nothing but being a police man to most of humanity outside the usa while machines are able to do most uncreative jobs, what industries will be left in the usa for humans? and,.. will they be enough?

Lackadaisy Rhapsody

A rhapsody is a musical form where improvised or spontaneous bridges between musical segments not aligned to each other is made as one song. The original rhapsody was the person who interwove epic poems to speak, as epic poems are long and need improvised bridges.

I was referred to this example by the following

Calligraphy Journey

the title of TheOneWithBear ManHua, Sunshine Through the Willow Tree.

It took half of year for my fellow calligraphist to make the electronic brush as well as practice the forms.

Calligraphy comes in many forms but usually is a measure between legibility<the ability to read> side figurability <the ability to see an image>

For example, the following is the tughra or signature of Sulemain the magnificent of the Ottoman empire

Metropolitan museum of art show rmaalbc
Metropolitan museum of art show

One can tell it is writing but it isn't meant for those that know the signs of arabic. It is designed to show an image, figurability.

In parallel TheOneWithBear's example below is no less craftwork, or calligraphy, but is meant for more legibility.

Happy Besooned Valentine's Day

What medium or style of art are you most obsessed with?
None, I am not obsessed to any medium or style of art. But the art I will like to be satisfied in creating that I am farthest from is literature based games. But I am romancing it, so to speak.

What love-themed artwork(s) do you believe are the most powerful, and why?
I will say love songs are the most powerful from love themed artworks. Why? At their best they are a blend of two heart felt passions wrapped in one.
The words when best, have a comprehension that can be sung by a mute lover through their eyes or a lonely yearning person calling out in isolation.
But, when a vocalist is at their best, they can utilize the words to emit frequencies that massage the doubts or dismissals from one who has no memory of a loving touch or provide paths for memories in the wind to re-enter the silverhaired.
Unlike the film, the song need not be seen.
Unlike the painting, the song touches the body.
Unlike the book, the song has a voice when one can't imagine it on their own.
If you are interested in some love songs, consider the list in the following work, I suggest Nat King Cole, Fly Me To The Moon

Has love or obsession inspired you to create a work of art? If so, share it in your comment and talk about how the feeling inspired it!
Yes, love has inspired the following work. I am a private person. It is a gif + poetry, click to see.

If you will like something to color for Valentine's day consider the following version, please share with me if you do

BLACK HISTORY MONTH Q&A

What Black artists have inspired you, and what about their work do you find inspiring?

For writing: Zora Neale Hurston+ August Wilson+ Dwayne McDuffie

For drawing: Jean Michele Basquiat

For sculpting: Dahomey sculpture artist , Edmonia Lewis

For dance: Sammy Davis Jr, Gregory Hines, Michael Jackson

For photography: Gordon Parks

For Music: Louis Armstrong, Marvin Gaye, Sweet Honey on the Rock, Sade

I have more but they came first to mind

Zora Neale Hurston for cognizing the value of Black Art that was being forgotten or lost during her own time, while creating art that cherished an aspect of the Black community that wasn't as in favor as other black artist or white owned media cared for.

August Wilson for the way in which Black communal life is presented complexly while unaffrontingly, I find too many Black artists write Black people as weapons.

Dwayne McDuffie for influence on Milestone and his width of imagination.

Basquiat for his unique art way and being a fellow New Yorker, surviving for a time, the life of an artists, which can be tough

Dahomey sculpture's for an art work I like a lot they made and it is poignant to me personally.

Edmonia Lewis for never quitting while having two elements of herself that she had to accept met various resistance, and her cleopatra is magnificent.

Sammy Davis jr for how multitalented he was while always a dancer at heart

Gregory Hines for how he always presented tap dance in a street way

Michael Jackson for making dance mandatory in musical acts after him

Gordon Parks for how long it took him to begin to make it, in his 40s but he never stopped trying and reached out creatively when he did, not settling

Louis Armstrong for being relevant artistically while watching his art form change/grow/morph throughout his entire life

Marvin Gaye for telling it like it is with his art

Sweet Honey on the Rock for the soul in their voice

Sade cause she never forces the sound.

I have many Black artist I am inspired by.

I hope I can do as they did to me to someone else Black.

What are some of your favorite artworks that depict African American culture?

The People Can Fly written by Virginia Hamilton and illustrated by Leo and Dianne Dillon. Virginia Hamilton in the spirit of Zora Neale Hurston kept alive stories that many Black homes had forgotten on their own intention. And she rewrote them lovely. Leo Dillon cause working with his white wife, Dianne, they just had a great sense of making art that didn't seem imitative but was accessible in intent to all.

A few private works in my home. :)

In what ways do you think art can be used to foster understanding and appreciation across cultures?

Art by default is messages from one or many individuals about their heritage<what they carry > or culture < what they grow> to whomever access it.

I argue that art is meant to convey, the comprehension or appreciation some want art to instill in those who access art must come from the accessors themselves.

I like the works of Ravel or the marches of the national socialist part of germany. But neither of said artful acts is why I don't attack french people or why I don't concur to the Nazi party.

Art unfortunately is asked to be the peaceful bludgeon and that is unfair.

The best way to utilize art is to allow art, the freedom of art. Said freedom will generate art work that you may oppose or dislike heavily, in my case Birth of a nation by Demille. But, it exposes the truth of the communities that create them.

And rightly or wrongly, the truth is the beginning to any peaceful comprehension or appreciation between any, even if said duo is never reached in part or whole by one who access art.

If you live in the USA do you know when the state you live in passed the 14th amendment?

The 13th amendment made slavery illegal except in incarcerations or prisons. But, the 14th amendment guaranteed the rights of all citizens or other persons in the usa. Note all other persons extends to criminals or illegal immigrants or civilians.

The 14th amendment was proposed on June 13th 1866, New York State passed it in January 10th, 1867
