Mandala Sphere

On deviantart in celebration of Holi, a mandala contest happened. But in my mind I thought, wouldn't it be cool if I connect the imagery of mandala which means circle, Holi, which is a festival of colors, with Equirectangular art. I admit I had another more intricate concept drawn but I used the latter concept of four mandalas cause I felt it represented the cyclical nature better. I already admit, when I do this again sometime in the future,  I will change the background each mandala to be a different place.  respecting the two hemisphere concept.

Questions to writing and things written

I asked the following questions

  • Z) To the growing populace in humanity who do not read books and by extension, don't read much, are video learners, what is the financial opportunity for the writer?
  •  5) The holodeck in star trek the next generation was technologically possible in Star Trek the original series while the culture of the federation in said original series opposed the purpose of the holodeck, thus no holodeck in the original series [barring special effects limits or capabilities in the 1960s]?
  • #) Does literature need its own protocol, like HTTP?

What are your answers? I give details to the questions origins at the following

https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/10874-a-question-and-questions-and-a-question/

What book do you propose for a questionable literary summary?

Questionable defined as  "how on earth did this published", "why are people reading this", "what decisions even made someone think this was a good idea", etc.

It took me a while to think, it was in the back of my mind, but I have a book, I want to roast that I have never read. I admit, it makes perfect sense to me how it got published, why people read it, or the decisions that made it a good idea. My reason for the roasting is the following book claims to be ancient when it is not and that lie to me, warrants the roasting.
I admit I myself have written a similar work, but with one key difference, I didn't suggest my book is ancient. My book which is in the same genre as the following book is admittedly modern. It is interpretation.
The book I wish to roast is
is drumroll!!!....
The Book of Mormon
This book was written in 1830 and is suggested to be ancient text transcribed into english. That is a lie. And while there are many books I don't care for I don't think they warrant the kindling, but this. 100% for me.
https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/1029005156/5121377453

why I found this question difficult
ahhh well, I have submit a blank page:)
In my writing journey I try to comprehend the positive in every book.
I can easily admit, I have negative views toward a number of books: uncle tom's cabin,  imitation of life ,  king james bible , chandler harris's the tales of brer rabbit , and twilight :) is included in the list but I can't bring myself to roast.

https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/1029005156/5121375176

what financially successful terrible writing may say?
well someone say's terrible writing concerning at least  50 shades of grey ,  it is very profitable so it conveys something about the modern readership.  Maybe the modern readership is willing to pay for content that would get a failing grade through scholarly review , this even connects to   computer generated art from human prompts. Maybe the modern audience at least in the anglophone is becoming less judgmental and more willing to extrapolate from words what they want to see or accept blemish in images that convey most of what they want to see? I can be totally wrong of course.

Akira Toriyama Thoughts

I recall being in school and i loved to draw, but I was raised in a different artistic heritage so i was surrounded by friends who drew, fellow child black artists, and  they all drew dragon ball. I was talking about tintin and sunman. totally alien to them. So, Toriyama's cartoon was a gateway into the arts for many black artists in my offline life.

I have never drawn anything dragonball related. Seen it for years , like some of the toons.
To toriyama, he is fortunate, it is the most fortunate artists who gets to make a work that inspires so many strangers while making one generational wealth to loving ones once their spirit flies.

the ever ongoing dialog war in art communities concerning computer simulated art through human impetus

some thoughts
part of this is financial right? I think all of us are being short in not mentioning how much money has been earned and the truth about what it means. as i said elsewhere, artist can tell when the market has changed and regardless of how the law goes, the market has changed. With these tools, the average person will not be interested in getting a human artists because for no money they can get a computer to make a satisfactory simulation or better. The reason fewer people played instruments in humanity was recorded music devices. Did recording music devices tell humans to stop? no. but once humans realized the musicman job at theaters/pubs/community events was leaving thus the money to do the art was leaving they didn't continue performing for free nor did latter generations have the inspiration of so many musicians to pick up and start using instruments. so, this is the reality. The future will have more artists, yes for those who read this far artists, who speak to a computer and get results. Yes. And this is coming from a undisputed traditional artists, look at my gallery if you have doubts. So, the future is here. In 50 years in the usa. most artists will create through said means. But traditional art will not die, i imagine people will pay for traditional artists to create traditionally. Traditional art has markets but they will get tighter. And for me, while I wish I made 12,000 on deviantart in 2023 with my poetry or calligraphy , i am not bitter nor scared. I will keep creating as long as i can, even if few to none want to buy.
https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/1032405910/5123375808

I want to say, AI art is very popular everywhere, those people I know offline who are artists who use it prove it to me. AI art is here. But I Think you are correct. People miss the amount of touch up work with synthography that goes on though I add as a logician, at some point, the computer will not make as many mistakes. The star trek holodeck is the goal and i know it is achievable. It doesn't mean I can not whittle wood in my spare time
https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/1032405910/5123377063

I will speak as a traditional artist, check my gallery if you think I am lying.
I know synthographers or what I like to call magic paintbrush users and I accept it 100%. .
Will people become accustomed to using prompts like star trek on the holodeck with that volumetric display? yes.
Will this mean less fiscal opportunity for traditional artist? yes
Does this mean any traditional artists is hindered in continuing to create their art? no
Always Be Creating

How commonly called AI art and I stand

I will start with the pot and then do the honey, yes that is reverse.
For those that fear the writing on the wall about the ability of all to express their imagination in various forms, with ever growing precision. it is here. Not all in humanity are online or own a powerful enough computer, most don't in fact. But, for those online or who can afford, the way in which a human artist is needed is going to change, and as in all labors it will not be sheparded or guided well but will be chaotic and messy as all labor changes in the usa in particular are.
Pot closed.
Now two big drops of honey.
First,  people who can have embraced these advanced computer brushes. And they are getting not just in illustrations but in literature what they want to see. The human imagination is infinite, it has not lessened and these tools will allow an expanse of imaginative displays.
Second, I talk to people in other parts of humanity, not just the usa. outside the rich parts of humanity a respect or liking for non electronic craft is strengthening so, for those who may feel like the walls of the traditional artists are closing in, i argue they are not but you need to get to the audience and in the usa or richer places in humanity, we are living at the beginning of a different taste in how art shall be consumed.
As for myself, i simply create the way i do for the reason i started when a child. I enjoy it. I have never been in competition with another artist. I simply create and use the gain in experience to learn.
As for my relationship to synthography or what I said elsewhere in these comment,  work through advanced computer brushes  , it is inexperienced or young. I probably will never put my own literature or illustrations into the machine to determine something new. But, using old poetry and then playing with various art styles was fun so I imagine I will do more of that with these contests in the future. But I don't know, we will see.
 https://www.deviantart.com/wrath/journal/The-V-Day-Nostalgia-Challenge-was-amazing-1025382667

IN AMENDMENT
yeah and that is why in my entry i had the gif style. To show people how you can use literature to get some idea and then use art styles through the names of artist themselves to garner various results, some quite pretty..... I have said the following elsewhere. We already know what  synthography is, it is called the holodeck. You know on the enterprise or elsewhere in the star trek universe from the next generation onward, when someone wants to relax, they go to the holodeck and say
"computer, show me a bar on earth , new orleans, in the late 1800s during carnival , filled with black pirates from tortuga in haiti from the 1600s as customers" and then the computer makes a scene the person is standing in and then they say " add a platform for a singer and make it a young ella fitzgerald supported by the louis jordan band" and then more changes, and the they say "run program" we in modernity are not there yet, but the google ai text to video is the first step there. That is all these is. It doesn't mean , ala the same show star trek, people can't do hand craft like in star trek insurrection when the people on that planet where no one ages because of the rings spend hundreds of years as apprentices learning how to sew intricately. I think people in the usa at least already know what ai art will become but it never occured to them that star trek was also right about the money working out differently. PEople in star trek do pay for holodeck programs , they are called holosuites so...  even though I am a traditional artist I comprehend this tool easily.  https://www.deviantart.com/comments/1/1025382667/5119706605

What are your thoughts on rejection? How do you think it can help... if there is a silver lining?

happens to all artist eventually.  I think rejection has different intensity levels based on who gives it. In my home, people have judged , not even, not the right color , similar. But, outside my home, in my presence, people have said , his work is crap. I have had work win entry in some things, not win entry in most. But, the key is not having a home where rejection is the standard. I think all artist eventually can climb over the bridges of rejection outside the house. But in the home, i think it is devastating to have certain kinds of rejection. I know dancers/singers who grew up with , to be blunt, rejectors in the house. I can't go into grand detail. But, my point is I don't think I will have the confidence or the patience in myself if not for the support of the home. And I have seen those who didn't have that and it can be really tough. MAgazines/publishers is one thing but the home is the worst.

What does the standardization of grammar mean?

 the introduction

This is a time of much division. Families and communities are splintered by polarizing narratives. Outrage surrounds geopolitical discourse—so much so that anxiety often becomes a sort of white noise, making it increasingly difficult to trigger intense, acute anger. The effect can be desensitizing, like driving 60 miles per hour and losing hold of the reality that a minor error could result in instant death.

If unconvinced I said the following about the film, The Intruder

the movie was a financial failure but Roger Corman admitted this was an art film, which he was able to barely afford, but he wanted to do. Comprehend this movie had to be a loser. Shatner's character didn't die? the rich guy of the town wasn't convicted of some crime. The black guy didn't become a hero. The truth is, the intruder speaks to the truth of alof of interracial situations in modern humanity. It is the same as the pawnbroker with rod steiger.

The populace in the usa: white black or other, likes convenience. Likes narratives. Any art that goes against narrative is rarely liked. If the matrix ended with neo being killed and the system rebooting and then in some far date in the future, the sun returns and  the machines don't need the matrix for power, that would bea downer. audiences like a set narrative.

https://aalbc.com/tc/topic/10571-aalbc-at-the-movies/

What is the lesson in the Palestinian?

Notice I didn't ask about their relationship to jews/zionists/israelis. The Palestinian at once time circa 1947 had a situation that had two main problems for them.

1) Their country was governed by an outside force, the united kingdom of britain

2) A set of immigrants with ever growing support from The United States of America- the most powerful military among the college of human governments on earth circa 1947 plus said united kingdom wanted into their country.

The lesson is straightforward: never accept foreign control + never accept immigrants who don't share your heritage plus culture. If you do these two things you end up  like the palestinian in israel as well as the native american in the usa.

Don't be a fool.

Dark Academia

The following is a question and answer I gave concerning the Dark Academia artistic theme.

Do you have any favorite pieces of media that fit the dark academia theme?

I can't say the following film is most beloved or most favorited by me, but I like the films: "the covenant" ... I recall an old legend, I do not know where it is cited online, I read it offline. The old legend, told my way,  says that in spain, under a mound somewhere, is a gateway to a classroom. In this classroom, a negative spirit teaches all the students spells pertaining to shadows. The students live there and at the end of the course, the student with the worst grades must stay , their soul locked their forever.

How do you feel about dark academia as an aesthetic? Would you incorporate elements of it into your art or everyday life?

In my mind dark academia and the modern goth artistic movements are similar. I am an open minded artist so I don't have any biases to any aesthetic. I am not one to dress in it, but it is fine if someone else does. I know people offline who are goth or have a similar taste.  In terms of my own work, I can't recall anything that is dark academia. But I have written quite a bit. I have written work that deals with people learning magic and doing negative things but I don't see that as dark academia. Just learning negative magic or powers doesn't equate to dark academia for me. IF so, then every sith student in star wards is an example of dark academia and I don't see it that way. I think the larger environment has to bound to the darkness. Having house slytherin doesn't make harry potter dark academia.  Now,  a story about Durmstrang, the rival school to hogwarts, that teaches the full spectrum of dark magic <if you want me to write something, message me>

Share dark academia art in your comment, whether you made it yourself or a favorite artist did!

I realized I have little to nothing in my deviantart galleries that fits dark academia... here is what I think fits, I am open to read your thoughts on whether you think it does or does not:)

the following is some art of mine I think is Dark Academia, what say you?

Calligraphy Commission for the Aevemor Character from TheBootesArtVoid

I enjoyed this alot, as I do all my Calligraphic work. It is my uncommon style. As a writer or drawer I like the ability to do both worlds and calligraphy is that. It is the border between said creative worlds and thus where I am very comfortable as a multimedia artist. I made quite a few sketches and other work, which I will not share. I am still trying to get to the place where I let the public in on my processes. It is not that I am afraid or think negatively of it, as much as , I like creating quietly or privately. I am not one who can draw or write online. Anyway, enjoy and if you color yourself, please do so, and I will like to see it.

Phillipe Saddletear

I admit he began more hawkish but I watched a hummingbird show, sequentially, things changed. The eye patch and mechanical talon was from the first sketch. Maybe he talks. I don't know. This character is young. I know the contest said imaginary friend, but I don't have that. And I believe that living beings: plants/fish/humans/the earth can connect to each other naturally. So... let me make up a imaginary spirit animal that isn't what in my heart my spirit animal looks like:)
Phillipe means lover of horses, but he is an avian. So at the last minute I gave him a last name.
